Alejandro Chaoul - Tsa Lung & Warrior Syllables
According to the Tibetan tradition the breath is the connection between body and mind. The Tsa Lung (Tsa meaning channel and lung meaning breath or wind) practises are a series of five seated yoga exercises which benefit the meditation practise. In the Tsa Lung practise we combine a focus on the mind/body, the breath and the physical movement for a positive effect on your physical and mental health. The practise invites you to be relaxed, physically as well as mentally, they ease emotional blockages and increase the experience of open awareness. The simplicity of the practises require no special skills or experience with yoga; it is possible for everyone to participate.
The Warrior Syllables
Often we encounter a separation between the problems we experience in daily life and the spiritual life we are longing for. We can pray and wish that all sentient beings may be free from suffering and the causes of suffering, but it is not always easy to be compassionate for the one we get not get along with or dislike.
The practise of the five warrior syllables is helping us to break through this separation. The starting point of this practise is our own limitations and unhappiness, the destination is the essence of our being. By experiencing the connection with our true nature we develop positive qualities, which come to express themselves by spontaneous actions. Instead of looking for something new, outside ourself, from what we hope that will solve our problems, we try to realise the source of the goodness we already are and let this manifest.
The five Tsa lung and the 5 Warrior syllables, help us connect tot he same 5 chakras. When we practise combining these two practices, we are connecting deeper to our chakras, as well as enhance our physical, energetic and mental health.
